John Keister, Sierra Leone coach has claimed he received death threats before announcing his squad for this month’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).



He was reportedly threatened over the inclusion of certain players.


John Keister confirmed he reported two threats to authorities in Sierra Leone. I

“I’ve got family, I look after these boys and I have a job to do. It gets me angry and for me, where I have come from and my background, I feel there is something I need to do about it.

Sierra Leone will play defending champions Algeria, Ivory Coast and Equatorial Guinea in Group E.
